The ladies from the studio and I are plugging along on our plans and designs for the market next week. Wow, where did October go?

We're very excited about the market and can't wait for you to see our booth and our work, some of which is new new stuff that you haven't seen in the shop. We hope you'll come visit...oh and by the way, we'll be handing out coupons for 10% off our handwoven items in the shop.

Other things I've been doing:
  • stomping in the rain with my new boots.
  • weaving
  • visiting with friends and eating delicious things
  • planning my new projects
  • also preparing some work for the annual Capilano Student Sale on November 20 (more on that later)
  • watching Downton Abbey (oy did I cry!)

Ok, well, I'm off to prep another warp and weave.

PS the pics are of the scarves that were pictured wet in a previous post...I'm really happy with the way they turned out. I love the effect of playing with different thickness and types of yarns.

Hello Lovely Readers,
I just wanted to let you know that I will be at the Blim Market, this Sunday in Vancouver. I don't have plans for many shows this fall/winter so come out and visit on Sunday. (Oh, and it's free, no paying to get in which is always annoying!)

There has been a serious lack of posts here, I've been busy getting used to my new schedule. I'm working at a bunch of different places, some textile related, some not and enjoying all for the most part. It just means lots of juggling for me but it's all good.

I also started "pinning" on Pin Interest, so go on over there and check out my inspiration boards...I'm really enjoying this a lot. I often collect images on my own (TONS saved everywhere), it's nice to have it in one place.

Lastly, a good textile friend (hi Julie!) of mine is having a group show over at the Ferry Building in North Vancouver. The opening is this coming Tuesday, you have to go! She's truly a brilliant and inspiring artist. You should see what she's doing with walnuts and double weave, whoa!

Thanks for visiting my space.
I will be selling my work tomorrow at the FAB Fair at Car Free Day on Main Street here in Vancouver. We will be in Heritage Hall on Main and 14th from 12-6pm. Hope to see you there!
Along with working away on stock for some local stores, I'm also working on some goodies for the FAB Fair. It's taking place on car free day on Main...lots of things to see and do and now...come visit me at Heritage Hall as well.

Back to work!
