Well, hello Vancouver. The picture above was taken from the boat on our way back into Vancouver from our Alaskan cruise.
I don't know what the rest of the country is experiencing but I feel like in Van, fall is in the air. The nights are definitely cooler. And I'm feeling like, like something. I couldn't put it into words until I read this and then I thought, YES, cocooning! Totally cocooning. That feeling you get in the fall when you get super inspired, make lists, make plans, etc. I don't know what it is but every year for as long as I can remember I have felt that. I can only compare it to the feeling you get a the beginning of the year...kind of a renewal...but it feels stronger in the Fall for me.
With that being said, I'm still working away on some new stuff...everything, of course, takes longer then I had planned. When will I learn? Of course this takes a long time! Hand dyeing and especially weaving, these are slow processes, and thank goodness because the last thing the world needs is more fasssst.
