The loom is all warped for a new commission. The studio walls are full but not for long. Many of those weavings will be on display at The Garden in Strathecona for a couple of months.
This series was previously on display at The Roundhouse as part of a group textile show organized by local tapestry artist (and a mentor of mine) Ruth Jones. It's been nice having them in the studio. This series has marked a shift in my personal work and I'm eager to continue exploring. This new work is really like woven meditations for me.
Always piles of things around the studio as I try to figure out how to organize things.
